Learning on the Coastside:

Last Week I ran into the Woos on Main Street in Half Moon Bay....

Linda and Ed Wilkinson of the the Wilkinson School.

They no longer live here on the Coast but were a big part of our lives when we had our son Wesley in their school at their

very cool home in El Granada.

I would say it was like a one room School house concept...that featured the young little ones....

hiking ...walking to the Beach...and parks...and going on great overnight trips to their magical Mountain

getaway...in the summer...They learned the important School stuff but also learned to be great compassionate

human beings....and how to catch lizards and play Chess...etc..

They will be back in the fall for the upcoming Woo Fest....around Sept. 17th....2017  ( I am told....)

Details to follow and the parents and children who experienced the wonderful Woo Way.....will be welcome to

come and play music and enjoy a reunion with some of the folks we love....

Tammy and I are still great friends with Teacher Mary Baxter from the Wilkinson School....

and my son invites many of his old Classmates over to this day....

Making Art on the Coastside:

Below is an image she framed for a show in San Francisco...

Tammy took this image while we visited a two Navajo Sisters who took us to their ancestral Navajo Hogan ( house) that was near

the lodge that we stayed at during our trip.

Living and Loving on the Coastside....

When we want a day off ....my Friends and family like to visit the natural beauty of our very own Paradise...

here is an image from a  recent visit to Gazos Creek..

Tammy and I relaxed on the little beach the other day as she painted a picture and I practiced my Harmonica...

perfect day.
